HSE Advisor – Steel Plant & Pharmaceutical – Denmark & Sweden

We are currently partnering with a multinational Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation services provider with offices across Europe. Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team in Copenhagen, Denmark on a pharmaceutical project for around 4 months then move on to their team in Sweden to join a Steel Plant project.

Responsibilities

•   Support Site Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:
Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE standards across the pharma project in Denmark and later the industrial steel plant project in Sweden, ensuring alignment with local regulations and project requirements.
•   Assist in Developing Project HSE Documentation:
Contribute to the preparation and updating of RAMS, inductions, environmental plans, and emergency procedures, ensuring documentation is accurate and project-specific.
•   Conduct Routine Inspections & Monitoring:
Carry out regular site walkthroughs, inspections, and safety observations to identify hazards, unsafe behaviours, or non-compliances, escalating issues and supporting corrective actions.
•   Deliver HSE Briefings & Toolbox Talks:
Provide day-to-day HSE support to site teams and subcontractors through inductions, toolbox talks, and on-site coaching to promote a strong safety culture.
•   Maintain HSE Records & Support Reporting:
Keep accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety data. Assist in compiling HSE reports, KPIs, and audit findings for internal teams and client representatives.

Requirements

Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably pharmaceutical or industrial)
Must have relevant HSE qualifications
Must have EU Passport

Benefits

€60,000 - €70,000 + Full Rotational Package (including flights, Rotation, Overseas Allowance, Accommodation etc.)
